Stylishly Style First

Style First is all about dressing in an elegant and stylish way, which in todays modern world, classic cuts and elegant wear seem to have taken a back seat! Style First takes its inspiration from classic designs of Christian Dior, Chanel, Yves Sant Laurent and Salvatore Ferragamo.

"Many people dismiss haute couture, as being something that is only for those who are very wealthy. But it is possible for a woman to be elegant without spending very much money on her clothes, if she follows the basic rules of fashion and is careful to choose the clothes that suit her personality.

Simplicity, good taste, and grooming are the three fundamentals of good dressing and these do not cost money" Christian Dior

So wonderfully put Mr Dior! Grooming is key, in looking stylish and chic. Eyebrows must be plucked, hair always clean and washed, nails manicured.

Style First recommends buying "The Little Dictionary of Fashion" by Christian Dior, which so stylishly explains the basics of elegance.

Stylish Quotes!

Stylishly Coco Chanel!

Style is not always about clothes, its a way of life. Coco Chanel epitomised style and elegance and she was once famously quoted "A girl should be two things things: classy and fabulous"

Coco Chanels style is still very much copied, but never matched, the signature look of Chanel are pearls, the classic 2.55 bag, camellia and the signature colours of black and white. If one is stuck for style, inspiration can be taken from Chanel.

For a small piece of Chanel if your on a budget, is to purchase one of their perfumes, prices from £50 onwards
Classic pumps from chanel, always look glam with skirts, or even jeans. Prices for chanel pumps start from £292 upwards
The LBD was also invented by Coco Chanel and now that item is a staple must have in the wardrobe!

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only.Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." Coco Chanel
