With a new season here, everyone will be looking out for something fresh, opening another chapter in the fashion cycle, here the picks the fashion world has their eye on.

Satchels

These epitomize vintage and go great teamed with a blazer and some jazzy shoes. Excellent ones can be found in ASOS, Cambridge.co.uk or Topshop but one that is on everyone’s mind is by mulberry ad their countless collection of beautiful satchels in many shapes and colours as mulberry’s satchels for men have been seen to be the favourite of many fashionistas such as Britain’s own Alexa Chung.
Fly Jacket

Beyonce shows how they are worn!
More specifically jackets with fur can also be referred to as the new ‘it’ flying magazine. These are going to be great and have already been seen around the catwalks by Burberry but also in shops such as River Island. The combination of faux leather and faux fur has been around for years and is now making a spectacular comeback just in time for the new season, as this can also be seen with leather boots with fur showcased by and sold at a cheaper priced by our favourite high street shop new look.

Shoes: Brogues, Yeti Boots and Military Boots

You won’t be seeing sandals again for a while as it gets colder and colder but shoes will still be seen all around. Brogues, yeti boots and military boots are all perfect for theses season and yeti boots are an special favourite on the runways with high street adapted this own trend with its own taste in shops such as Office and Aldo and others. With brogues bringing in a vintage classic look, military boots bring a grungy rock effect that never gets old while yeti boots present a fresh cool wave of trend, here these cool shoes are force to be reckoned with.

Wedges

These sheepskin wedges are from Alejandro Ingelmo
Wedges provide a platform without being difficult to walk in. these are a favourite of mine especially the wedges made by ACNE and Jeffrey Campbell, and are sure to be seen all over the season and provide many with trusty support.

Little Black Dress

Immortalised forever by icon Audrey Hepburn, the LBD has been used and recreated by an endless list of designers, fashion icons, high street shops and even just your everyday working lady. Sold everywhere and anywhere from Topshop and River Island to New Look and Next, a little black dress can be throughout any season.

Duffle Coats
I love these comfortable gems and they’re so cute as I have two of my own and still looking for number three. In so many colours and sizes depicting long or short, this coat should be worn throughout winter. A beautiful item that emphasises the vintage look, they look great with dresses, skirts or trousers but can really pull any outfit together.

With all these new trends already entering the catwalks and stores, it is now safely time to start shopping for the new season, but we all must remember to save for the most important time of the year January sales, I know I will!

Casual Chic

Style First has been putting together a few pieces to give you some ideas on casual wear.

Gold detailing looks great with brown, and the classic boyfriend shirt is always a favourite for chic daywear.

Flats are brilliant, especially the cute little Miu Miu pretty bow pumps. If your not a fan of skinny jeans, then opt for jeans which finish just by the ankles. Finish with a light scarf, or pashmina, and voila you have a Style First outfit!

Stylishly Style First

Style First is all about dressing in an elegant and stylish way, which in todays modern world, classic cuts and elegant wear seem to have taken a back seat! Style First takes its inspiration from classic designs of Christian Dior, Chanel, Yves Sant Laurent and Salvatore Ferragamo.

"Many people dismiss haute couture, as being something that is only for those who are very wealthy. But it is possible for a woman to be elegant without spending very much money on her clothes, if she follows the basic rules of fashion and is careful to choose the clothes that suit her personality.

Simplicity, good taste, and grooming are the three fundamentals of good dressing and these do not cost money" Christian Dior

So wonderfully put Mr Dior! Grooming is key, in looking stylish and chic. Eyebrows must be plucked, hair always clean and washed, nails manicured.

Style First recommends buying "The Little Dictionary of Fashion" by Christian Dior, which so stylishly explains the basics of elegance.
Grooming tips are in Style First Course, for details please visit www.stylefirst.co.uk
